About Maranatha Baptist Church
We Believe . . .
That God created all things in six literal days and that the mechanism of creation was the authoritative Word of God (Gen 1:3).
In the Holy Spirit who convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment, who dwells in the believer and seals the believer until the day of redemption.
That the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and is the authority for all faith and practice, both corporately and individually.
King James Version is used in all classes and from our pulpit.
There is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, He is the one and only true God and is to be worshipped exclusively (Isa. 44:6).
In the deity of Jesus Christ, supported by His virgin birth, His sinless life, resurrection and ascension.
In salvation by faith without works, and is totally dependent upon one’s faith in the atoning work of Christ and is appropriated through repentance of sin and personal expression of faith.
In separation from the world, not as a matter of legalism, but as a matter of obedience to practical sanctification.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting condemnation.
